Happy New Year!!!

I just wanted to say happy new year. I know it's late, but I have been out of town over the holidays. We went to Disney World, & hopefully I will be able to post pics soon!

BAD Attitude!

So anyway! I have a horrible attitude about things today! With it being the end of the semester, the kids don't care, which I have decided I don't care anymore either. I have one meeting after another, when I have things to do. I know this is my problem, but I live 30 miles from where I work, & I didn't get home last night until 8 PM b/c of an "open house" we had at school last night. How come it's the kids who give you behavior problems in class that can ruin your whole attitude about the whole group? Isn't that horrible? I have some REALLY sweet kids, but it seems the "bad" ones outnumber the ones who really want to get an education. I have decided that after Christmas holidays, I am going to start treating them like they are in highschool. They might as well get ready for it. These kids just want you to "spoon feed" them. They don't want to do anything for themselves. They want to sit & get grades for it, passing grades at that! I will NEVER understand the mentality these kids have! This is really ruining my "Christmas spirit" HELP!!!!!!

My First Post! Yay!!

This is my first time blogging, other than on MySPace. The title pretty much says it all as to who I am. I am a newly-married, & a first year teacher. It is pretty hard being both! I hope to use this as a window to my life. We don't have any children yet, but we plan on it in the next couple of years! We can't wait! We love our family, friends, church, & Ginger ( my 2 year old yorkie). I will be posting pics of her here very soon! That's all for now!
